When I decided to take on a restoration project, I looked at many possible project vehicles. Although I hadn't had a Buick since 1976, I really fell for a 1958 Buick Roadmaster that had been sitting in a field for 20+ years. It was going to be a major project. I soon found out that although parts and knowledge for Fords and Chevys were abundant, those for vitage Buicks were not. Luckily, I found out about the BCA and through them, I got in contact with the local chapter here in Spokane. WOW! I struck gold! Within the first 2 months, I connected with Buick enthusiasts and experts in Spokane and all over the country. These people had decades of experience that they were willing to share because they loved Buicks. It enabled me to find parts and information that would have taken me a lot longer, is simply awesome. Plus, it's fun going on drives with other classic Buick friends and presenting at car shows!
