On September 20th the first Buick Open Car show was held at 12209 E Mission Avenue, Spokane Valley, WA.

The show was a joint venture of:
The Inland Northwest Chapter, Buick Club of America and,
The Historical Auto Society of Spokane & Inland Empire (HASSIE Club).

Our show was a great success: A warm sunny day, good food and music and over 90 incredible cars registered.

  • 1939 & older: Howard Danielson - 1937 Packard 120

  • 1940 thru 49: Gary Barton - 1940 Ford Pickup

  • 1950 thru 59: Larry Ellsworth - 1957 Belair

  • 1960 thru 69: Mike Boes - 1964 Pontiac Bonneville

  • 1970 thru 79: Jerry Honeycutt - 1970 Ford Bronco

  • 1980 thru 95: Jason Malcomb - 1999 Lincoln Towncar

  • Best Buick: Gus Johnson - 1951 Buick Special Deluxe

  • Best Original: Mark Kramer - 1987 Buick Grand National

  • Best Modified: Joe Noland 1938 Studebaker Coup Express

  • Best of Show: Steve Zwarg - 1933 Buick Phaeton

  • People’s Choice: Jerry Heath - 1955 Buick Roadmaster
